Dorottya is directing and leading the choir, organising and teaching the workshops and curating the concerts.

Dorottya is a singer, composer and choir leader studying at the Royal Academy of Music in Holstebro. Dorottya's interest in music is widely spread from interdisciplinary collaborations, contemporary jazz to authentic folklore.​

Born and raised in Hungary, she is deeply connected to her roots in her music, as well to the local music scene of Denmark, where she has been living for nearly a decade.

 

Through travelling and participating in residencies,  exchanges and symposiums, Dorottya has collected folk songs from various cultures, which keeps expanding through the years. Her interest in getting to know different cultures, languages and music traditions led her to collaborate with artists and teachers from all around the globe.
