About
The choir was established in 2024 with the idea to create a community around folklore and celebrating cultural diversity.
The choir welcomes all kinds of members despite their background regarding music and singing. Following the folk tradition, all material is taught by ear, therefore reading sheet music is not needed. We usually speak English during the rehearsals, as there are several internationals members in the choir.
During a season we aim to have a diverse repertoire from various cultures the choir leader have collected and arranged, and songs shared by the members of the choir from their all cultural heritage is much appreciated, too.
The choir is led by Dorottya Máté.
Membership
A year at the choir starts in the beginning of September and ends in May. It is possible to join by the start of each season (fall and spring), however during the spring we build further on the repertoire we worked on during the fall season, therefore it is best to join for a whole year.

700 DKK - student fee
900 DKK - normal fee
